America Recycles Day · November 15
Less waste starts with a refill.
Bring your clean, empty container to Rivertown General. We’ll weigh it, fill it with as much or as little as you want, then weigh it again. You pay only for the product inside.
Keep the container. Refill what’s inside. See how refilling works
Nestled in the heart of the historic village of Dobbs Ferry, NY, Rivertown General specializes in durable, sustainable, and ethically sourced goods for the home and everyday life from local makers & purpose-driven brands. Additionally, our Refill Room makes it even easier to live a lower-waste lifestyle. Bring your containers, refill what you need, and help our community grow sustainably.
Refill Room
One year in, and together we've kept over 1,500 new plastic bottles from ever being made. Every time you refill instead of rebuy, you're breaking the cycle of single-use plastic, one container at a time. Thank you for making that choice, again and again. Here's to many more years of refilling together.
